Philomena Aceto has been a chef for most of her adult life. Starting in NY city working as an on-site chef for some of the city’s most prestigious catering companies and ending up in Dallas Tx. cooking in a restaurant. From there Phil opened her own catering company, launched an Italian food product line, appeared on morning TV cooking and talking about food, cooked privately for several families, and started a cooking school in her garage.
These days she lives in a 100-year-old historic house in Upstate NY with her wife and their menagerie of 3 dogs and a kitty. Currently, working as a private chef and food blogger. Growing up in her Italian grandmother’s kitchen she has always relied on the teachings and traditions that she learned at a very young age.
